Floor runners, even though and engineered to withstand heavy foot traffic and hard conditions, they still need to be maintenance regularly to to prolong the longevity of the fibers, base, and backing. Salt, sand and grease will degrade carpet quicker and can reduce the lifespan by half. Annual, Semi-Annual, or even quarterly is recommended in the least along with regular vacuuming.

Carpet spots are simply spots and are relatively easy to easy treat. These include oil, food, sugar residue, water spots, mud, grease and the more difficult gums, wax, and paint. These require a basic spot treatment and lots of water.

Carpet stain are much more difficult to treat and when left longer, they become more and more difficult to treat. These include feces, urine, ink, makeup, tannin, coffee, sweat, and more. These need a chemical treatment to alter the appearance of the stain and sometimes if left long enough the stain can end up bonding with the carpet fibers permanently. Stains left long enough become Stay-Ins.

NEVER USE BLEACH to treat spots or stains in carpet, it will destroy the fibers and alter the colour.

Odors develop and gradually build over time, causing a rancid, pungent or even stale sense that you grow nose blind to but your family and friend do not. Carpet is the greatest culprit to capturing a preserving odors for long term. The pores fibers and material can hold onto smells like cigarette smoke, marijuana, pet smells, feces, urine, food, vomit or trauma events.

We use two processes to eliminating odors from carpet. First we remove all dirt, dust, grime and hair that often traps and holds odors in the carpet. Secondly we apply a deodorizer where applicable to chemically alter the odors and eliminate them.

There are numerous consumer ways to treat odors, but the most effective way to eliminate odors is to clean and maintenance floor surfaces and carpet.

VLM ( Very Low Moisture) cleaning is offered to customers to brighten and micro clean carpet. This process can be quicker, can be more cost effective in large area, and dries quicker. However this process is generally reserved for carpets that are regular vacuumed and looked after by the customer.

VLM & Encapsulation cleaning is not a substitute for the Steam-Clean/Hot-Water Extraction process. It focuses primarily on surface appearance, light staining by food or drink, and merely prolongs the period between Steam-cleaning treatments.

VLM & Encapsulation is most suited to Hotels, Motels, Office Spaces, Lounges, Conference Halls, where the customer regularly vacuums, has consistent cleaning schedules, has low outside traffic, and promptly addresses spot and stains. This process therefore is limited in the scope of a thorough cleaning.
